Fibreglass extraction in Upper Church Co.Tipperary

We extracted old blown in loose rockwool insulation from this house in Upper Church Co.Tipperary.

This house was getting a heating upgrade along with new windows and doors. Removing loose rockwool insulation and replacing it with bonded bead is the right way to go. The alternative to removing rockwool insulation is external insulation or insulated plaster boards internally which is at least 70% more expensive.

We carried out these works in conjunction with Metro Construction Tipperary.

Extraction of cotton fibre from cavity wall in Kerry.

Job completed recently in Cahersiveen, Co.Kerry. We at sisolutions successfully removed all loose cotton fibre from cavity walls. This material gives no heat value to your home, it only creates dampness. This house was successfully refilled with bonded bead by the T.L.I group in Kerry. Home owner will benefit greatly from this work heat wise and health wise.

Another reason why we remove cotton fibre, fibreglass, loose insulation from cavity walls as it can lead to respiratory problems.

Le meas agus buiochas,

Tony

Exterior Opening Ventilation Shaft

This gallery shows how we installed a new ventilation shaft into a solid 10″ brick wall. We used a wet core drill with stand to bore a clean hole through the wall.

This was done with a minimum of fuss to the occupants and this boring technique meant that the structural integrity of the wall was not compromised as can happen when using kango hammers.

We’s like to say a big thank you to the folks at Meals on Wheels in Tramore for being very accommodating to us while we worked but for also being so good in the community and helping so many vulnerable people.
